You know, folks, when we set out to create these landing nets, we stick close to home, sourcing materials from our own backyard whenever possible. No fancy exotic woods this time; we found everything we needed right here in good old central PA.
Now, the million-dollar question we've been hearing from all you curious folks on Instagram - those bullets. These aren't your run-of-the-mill bullets, oh no! These are inert 223 rounds, manufactured without any powder or firing capabilities. Tina, our maestro of details, had these rounds ready to roll before she poured that TotalBoat epoxy, infusing the net with character.
But wait, the real magic lies in the craftsmanship. These landing nets aren't just slapped together; they're a symphony of hickory and walnut laminations, elegantly bent around a custom ash handle with a hollow core. It's all about balance and finesse.
Once the cure time was up, it was time for the planer - that trusty tool that transforms raw potential into refined beauty.
